A Thanksgiving prayer from my Dad:
Blessed by you, Lord our God
Through your goodness we enjoy the fruits of the earth
and share the gift of loving family and friends
We ask your blessing on our family,
our home and the food we are about to eat.
We say thanks for all who helped to prepare this meal.
We thank you also for the love and the joy we all share
today and for your love of each of us.
Make us mindful of those who are lonesome or who will
go hungry today and help us to show our thanks by the way
that we live.
We ask these things through Jesus Christ, your Son our
Lord, who lives and reigns with you forever and ever! AMEN!

Alexis was very excited about Turkey Day! She was jumping around all morning saying "gobble, gobble!"
