Tuesday 5/30 Museum of Science and Industry

We went downtown to the Museum of Science and Industry on Tuesday, it's still a little too old for Alexis, but she enjoyed looking at some of the exhibits. She especially liked seeing the Baby Chick Hatchery... while we were there, we even got to see a chick hatch from its egg!



We couldn't get Alexis to smile for the camera today...
and, she was too busy trying to look at the frog exhibit to sit and take a picture with Mommy!

Alexis favorite part of the museum was the frog exhibit, it was really cool!

This is our two week old Burrito Girl! This is what we have to do to her to stop her fussing, it's called the cuddle cure! To anyone with a highly sensitive or colicky infant that can not yet soothe herself, we would strongly recommend the book "Happiest Baby on the Block".

Kayla fighting her sleep, not being able to tune out the world on her own... We didn't actually nickname her Burrito Girl, we nicknamed her PJ as in Peanut Junior. Alexis' nickname is Peanut and Kayla (aside from her sensitive temperment) reminds us a lot of Alexis, so we call her PJ!

Friday at the Zoo 5/19/06

We finally had a clear blue sky, what a difference the weather makes on your mood! We went out to Brookfield Zoo today so Alexis could play with the animals! It was such a beautiful day!


Kayla slept the whole time! She must have loved all that fresh air!

We got out to the mall on Thursday... Alexis had a chance to run around and play with some kids at the playground. She was very happy to get out of the house!
