Arizona February 2007

Last weekend my sister Louise and I went to visit my sisters Barb and Jacqueline's families in Arizona (our husbands sent us as a Christmas gift and for my sister Louise's Birthday).
This is the beautiful view from my sister Barb's house... I didn't get any other pictures of her beautiful new house though!
My nieces Sarah and Julia playing at my sister Jacquelines beautiful house ... Lou Lou and our nephew Jeremy...
My brother in law with his son Jeremy... he was such a ham and so cute! He was sick while we were out there, but you would never know it, he was such a good boy!
Hanging out....

We all went out to a great restaurant for Louise's Birthday... these are my two sisters with their husbands.
Me with 3 of my sisters...
Me with my Godmother.
On Sunday morning we all made a great big breakfast! Although I missed my girls and wished they and Tony were with us, it was a nice weekend of being able to eat breakfast and drink a cup (or two) of coffee without changing a diaper, getting babyfood spit at me or taking a toddler potty!

Jeremy looking perplexed... this was the only time during the weekend you could tell he wasn't feeling well.
Then all the girls went to get pedicures!
I had gotten my hair done out there on Friday afternoon... the west coast color for medium blonde is definitely not the same as the midwest! I don't think my hair has been this blonde since I was a teenager! Tony likes it though so I'll keep it for a while...My sister and her daughter... aren't they so cute?My beautiful niece Sarah
Our pretty toes...

Julia and Jeremy playing at the park... they had a great time with Auntie Lou at the park while I helped my sister prepare dinner.
We had such a great time visiting with my sister and her family. The weather was great, we even got to eat outside one night! It really makes me itch for Spring to get here already!
Julia dancing for us in her pretty new outfit...
My brother in law with my nephew... he did a great job grilling for us! It was a great trip!

Low Key Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day.... Mommy got some roses from my girls and some chocolates....
Alexis helped Mommy make cupcakes and sign Valentine's to bring to Nana, Pa, Grandma and Papa! She picked out Princess Valentine's of course!
Decisions, decisions....
Learning how to hold a pen and Mommy helped her write her name
while she spelled it for me... Kayla sat on the flooring playing with the food...
Learning how to clap it together! She's almost clapping herself, but not quite there yet!

An Old Barn 2/14/07

Sometime on Wednesday afternoon, I heard a loud noise outside.... I looked to see what it was and found one of my favorite Barns in the area being torn down! It's the barn you can see from our Family room, it set the scene for the most beautiful sunsets and was the main reason we put windows on this side of the house! I guess we'll see what is in store

Village Idol 2/9/07

On Friday night I took the girls to see my niece perform at the Village Idol! She did a great job, and the girls enjoyed it!

Auntie Lou Lou with Kayla while Mommy got Alexis situated....
Alexis is all ready to have the music start! The girls were pretty good... Kayla pretty much bounced up and down on Mommy's lap the whole show, while Alexis listened pretty well to the music!
Chelsey on stage... my camera doesn't take very good pictures at night or in the dark, but I edited this one and you can kind of see her... She looked beautiful on stage and did a great job!
All of the contestants gather for a picture at the end of the show!
Back at my sisters house for Ice Cream...
Alexis with her own bowl of M & M's again... way past her bed time, it was the last thing she needed! She was a good girl though, so I let her have a few.
Emily and Alexis sitting so nicely together at the table...
Kayla sleeping... it was way past her bedtime too, I was surprised she lasted as long as she did!
Mom and Dad enjoying some snacks together...
Alexis conned one of our family friends into reading her The Little Mermaid... he's so good with the kids!

Sometime Last Week....

The girls were helping Mommy make dinner (don't worry, Daddy was right there to make sure they didn't fall!)

Alexis is very excited that her sister is big enough to sit on the countertop with her!
My Happy Girls.... before Kayla and Tony got sick!
Alexis is showing Kayla her favorite thing about helping Mommy cook... she gets to dip into the tomato sauce... I was making burritos the way Mom used to make them!
Kayla was more interested in the Cheese than the tomato sauce!
